Electricity & Gas Complaints Commissioner Scheme
The Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner Scheme (EGCC) offers a free and independent service for resolving complaints about electricity and gas companies.
Many people are intimidated by large energy companies, and do not know how to proceed with a complaint. EGCC goes to great lengths to be easy to deal with, and approachable.
Gas and electricity industries use wires or pipes, to connect their services, using this as a common theme, and combining it with the concept of untangling complainant’s issues, has resulted in the creation of lineal drawings as signature style for the scheme. The EGCC style has evolved over a number of years.
Annual Report 2014
The 2014 Annual Report and Annual Report summary is entirely illustrated in their signature lineal style. The abstract illustrations help explain the processes in a simple understated way and can be understood without the use of text, overcoming language barriers. Sequences of linked illustrations are used to get the reader to follow the path of a particular written segment emphasising the ordered, systematic, logical handling of complaint issues.
